We have personally created a delightful cottage recognising Akaroa's French heritage. We have had a much-loved holiday home on this site all our lives and have aimed to combine style with simplicity in a way that is typically "Akaroa."
French Cottage is ideal for a relaxed holiday in any season. You will have the personal care and service of a B&B but also your own privacy in charming, self-contained accommodation.

Enjoy the seasonal produce and delightful nooks to sunbathe or sit and read amongst the wildflowers and tall fruit trees.

This is a place to recharge body and soul. There have been weddings, honeymoons, holidays and retreats here, all of them happy occasions with guests leaving feeling better for having been here and looking forward to their next visit.

Breakfast can be served at our adjacent home, Marstrand, where you will find the architecture of our rejuvenated holiday home fascinating. If you prefer, a basket of breakfast goodies or a hot meal can be delivered to your accommodation for you to enjoy at your leisure.
